To get the most out of the Divergent series, it’s best to watch the Every Divergent Movies in Order of Event. Tris (Shailene Woodley) fights to protect the people she cares about while also attempting to find answers to some deeply troubling questions about loss and redemption, about her own identity and loyalty, about politics and love. It’s worth noting that while both Divergent and Insurgent are film adaptations of their respective novels, Allegiant is based on only half of its source material, and the other half is expected to come out as The Divergent Series: Ascendant.
